| This is a joint meeting of the Texas
Sections of the American Physical Society, American Association of Physics
Teachers, and Society of Physics Students Zone 13. The conference is open to
anyone interested in either physics research or physics/physical science
education.
High school teachers may submit up to two students for outstanding physics student certificates. Outstanding students attending the conference will be awarded their certificates and recognized during the lunch on Friday. Teachers will be provided certificates for students not attending. In addition to student presentations, a panel discussion with experts from industry and academia on jobs and other opportunities for students with math and science degrees is planned. High School Students
High school students must register for the conference. However, there is no cost for registration prior to March 10. Students registering prior to March 10 also receive free lunch tickets and the opportunity for reduced banquet tickets via the generosity of the Texas Section of the APS.
