Special Session

Advanced Lab and Undergraduate Research

A special session is being organized covering the Advanced Lab and Undergraduate Research practices. To kick off this session, Dr. Richard Peterson will be giving an invited plenary talk on Advanced Labs.

Faculty are encouraged to submit longer (25 minute) talks about a general area of advanced lab experiments, the implementation of the Advanced Physics Lab at their institution or Undergraduate Research at their institutions as well as shorter traditional talks (12 minute) about a specific laboratory experiment. In addition to submitting your abstract in electronic form to the APS, please forard the abstract to the session oragnizer (Tom O'Kuma at tokuma@Lee.Edu) along with the speaking time you are requesting. The deadline for receipt of abstracts on the electronic form is March 16, 2009. Proof-read your abstract carefully before submission!
