Information for contributed sessions
Deadline for submission - February 29, 2008
The contributed sessions speakers will be given 15 minutes for their talks and questions. There will be a 5 minute break between talks.
The student session is Friday morning, the faculty session is Friday afternoon (see the program for times).
The contributed session talks will be held in rooms that have a projector system connected to a document camera and a computer (XP operating system, MS Office installed, USB ports available). The rooms have white boards and markers will be provided. There will be a hook-up for laptop external monitors.
The contributed session speakers are expected to register for the conference.
As in past years, the Texas Section MAA conference budget is insufficient to compensate contributed session speakers for their travel expenses. The session speakers should make their own travel arrangements.
The math classrooms (108, 113, 208, 209, 212, 213, 310, 314, 315), where the contributed sessions will be held, have the following software:
