The 88^th Annual Meeting of the Texas Section of the MAA

Information for contributed sessions

Deadline for submission - February 29, 2008

• The contributed sessions speakers will be given 15 minutes for their talks and questions.  There will be a 5 minute break between talks.

• The student session is Friday morning, the faculty session is Friday afternoon (see the program for times).

• The contributed session talks will be held in rooms that have a projector system connected to a document camera and a computer (XP operating system, MS Office installed, USB ports available).  The rooms have white boards and markers will be provided.  There will be a hook-up for laptop external monitors.

• The contributed session speakers are expected to register for the conference.

• As in past years, the Texas Section MAA conference budget is insufficient to compensate contributed session speakers for their travel expenses.  The session speakers should make their own travel arrangements.
