Engineering Physics

This unique program is one of only two physics programs in the state of Texas that are certified as ENGINEERING PROGRAMS by the State of Texas Higher Eduaction Coordinating Board.
The new composite program provides a student with job training in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and semiconductor manufacturing beyond a conventional undergraduate physics degree while still providing a solid foundation for future graduate studies in either engineering, computer science, or physics.

The program is compatible with the Tarleton pre-engineering program that was developed in collaboration with Texas A&M. Thus, students may transfer upto the start of their junior year with little or no course work loss between Texas A&M or UT-Arlington engineering departmets, pre-engineering, and engineering physics.
