Oh So Long
Oh so long have I waited for the time for camp to come,
Moving into my cabin and looking forward to lots of fun;
I packed up my things: I've got the proper clothes to wear,
I'm learning to follow Him here so I can follow Him there.
Canteen is there when you are thirsty,
I was looking and I caught you being good;
We're learning more of our Redeemer,
The way that we should.
Signing up to play some ping pong, don't chase the ball across the
line,
Leave your worries far away, everything will work out fine;
We've got the Friends to keep us going, we are really glad they came,
A nice long walk to the devotions, field hockey's a crazy game.
YMCA done from the sidelines,
A tsunami is a
wave out in the sea;
A time that you can let your hair down,
We're making memories.
Put your shoes on to walk to swimming or you'll get stickers in your
feet,
Swim and find the cool spots, what a way to beat the heat.
Good food is there when you are hungry,
Two talent shows for everyone to see;
We're learning more about our Savior,
And building memories.
