TSU is one of the least expensive schools in the State of Texas. To attract the best and brightest students, TSU also has scholarships of upto $7,000 per year for four years. Out-of-State Students who obtain an academic scholarship of $1000 or more also pay In-State tuition.

TSU provides a wide-range of financial support to its students including need based financial aid and competative academic scholarships. Our four year $28,000 Presidential Honors Scholarship covers more than 100% of a student's expenses for tuition, fees, and books. Many of our best students have been able to cover their entire education cost including housing by combing scholarships with other forms of support including employment as a departmental tutor or research assistant and, paid summer internship with one of our industrial partners. |
